Through sculpture and in-situ installations I explore intensities of time and our capacity to absorb what surrounds us. Thin needles pin me to the past, some in pleasant spots, some in painful ones. I get pulled forward by an ever-extending rope to find myself split-stretched in the continuous now. My current state is stained by past puddles, I take out my straw in an attempt to suck them up. I touch the matter and the matter strokes me right back; through mutual affection we arrange new formations. It is this affection that I want to translate and display: touching touching.
